There’s plenty of horse manure available from the entrance to the stables on the Stonnall side of Lazy Hill/Chester Road junction. All they ask is that bags are returned (good quality bags – unlikely to tear). I wouldn’t recommend using it straight away as not well rotted, but for the past few seasons, I have filled my compost bin and used it the following year. Rots down lovely.
